I liked the friendly staff and the location of the hotel to the theater royale
I did not like the fact that there are no smoking rooms in the hotel, we pay the same to stay in the hotel and should be able to enjoy a cuppa tea with a cigarette in the privacy of our own room, I think smokers are discriminated against as there is no proper covered smoking area in this hotel and guests were smoking at the front door which to me in worse as non smokers have to pass in and out of the hotel. Please consider improving the smoking area and allocating some rooms for smokers

I have stayed at the Tower Hotel and Leisure Centre many times. I find it so convenient - you can park your car and access most areas on foot without having to look for parking etc. The staff are friendly and helpful and the leisure centre is quite good as well. I always enjoy my visit.

The hotel is in a great location, not far from the airport. The areas just outside the town have the most spectacular views, in fact, they were breathtaking. We took the tour of the Waterford crystal factory (5 minute walk from hotel) it was wonderful.

Location only
Noise level at night time (live band) Car parking area too small for hotel and they allow double parking effectively blocking some vehicles in. Room too hot even with the heating turned off. Would only recommend for one night stops.

Staff were good and friendly
The bedroom was very tight on space and the gym could do with some modernising. Main problem was I have been over charged by 20euro, my booking was for 69, and I can see my room cost was then charged at 89, I have emailed the hotel, 2 days ago, but no response, I do not think this is good enough, and would appreciate if you could help me get a refund on this issue. Thanks Moira Fox

This place suits me perfectly! It has everything I need, free wi-fi, a fitness center, and an indoor swimming pool. The staff even helped me with evening plans on my first stay, which I still remember. Plus, the cheerful service. I can't recommend it enough-I'll be back next year!

The stay in this exceptional and nicely decorated hotel was very lovely and we would come here again. It had all needed for a short break in Waterford. The restaurant here was really nice for breakfast, we both ordered excellent dishes.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast and evening meal were excellent. It was very well located in the centre of the city. The bedroom was comfortable and clean. There was a relaxed and friendly air about the building which added to the enjoyment of the stay.
We were surprised, when we arrived at our allotted room, to find the door hanging off the hinges. In our travels in over 36 countries in the world this was a first for us. On reporting this to reception a serviceman was soon on the job and repaired the door. However we were shortly afterwards allocated a different room. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was very difficult to use and seems an inadequate utility in a modern four star hotel. There also seemed to be a paucity of toiletries in the bathroom and there was no brush to clean the toilet.
